About the Editor

I graduated from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky where I majored in English, with a focus on editing and creative writing. On my own journey to self publishing my first two books, I didn't know what I was doing, how to do it, or who to contact to get help. By the time I was finished, understood, and experienced the process, I had laid the foundation to what is now Kingdom Lyrics. I'm passionate about helping people with their books and improving their writing, and I'm now pleased to assist people in their own journeys to self publishing.  In the near future, I aim to help upcoming writers perfect their craft and pursue their passion by providing programs, workshops, and scholarships to students, among other things.  

I met poetry at the age of eleven and fell in love, but my love matured into all things creative. I am now an avid writer and skillful poet. When I'm not writing, I'm reading. If I'm not reading, I'm spending time with my family, striving to be the woman, wife, and mother God called and created me to be.  "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).
